“Tis the Season…” –David Thompson, President and CEO, TEC Equipment

New nursery for Estacada family

Portland, OR, 30 December, 2016– Just before Christmas, a fire destroyed the home of a family of five in the Portland area.

The fire destroyed everything, including the nursery that had just been set up for their baby due to arrive any time.

David Thompson, President and CEO of TEC Equipment, saw their story and immediately offered to help this family in need by replacing their nursery with all new furniture and accessories.

So the family shared with TEC just what they needed and their new nursery items were delivered Thursday morning, December 29, 2016. Their healthy baby girl arrived later that very same day!

Here is some of what the Mom had to say about David’s generosity:

My husband surprised me with the news of you and your company wanting to replace the nursery we lost in our fire. I couldn’t help but break down and cry. Truly knowing our baby is able to have a bed again and even a nursery leaves me speechless!

Our Christmas was like no other. We were thankful to be together and felt so blessed to have gotten such support from everyone. Thanks to you and everyone that reached out to us. You all helped us keep our faith and stay strong. My family can’t thank you all enough! GOD BLESS YOU AND MERRY CHRISTMAS.

We can’t wait for baby to come and when it grows up have such a story of a true Christmas miracle to tell her or him. You all will forever be a part of our lives.
