HVIP is open to new Voucher Requests starting June 8th
Starting at 10am Pacific on Tuesday June 8th the The Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) will be open to new Voucher requests. The program offers at least $120,000 per qualifying class 8 electric truck.
If you’re interested in taking part in this program, contact us to walk through a few simple required steps as soon as possible to line up your plan for June 8th.
Step 1: Speak With a Sales Specialist
Talk with a TEC sales specialist at our HVIP-approved dealership in La Mirada to learn more about the capabilities of the Volvo VNR electric or Mack LR Electric and discuss the infrastructure needs electric trucks include.
Step 2: Work With TEC To Complete a Purchase Order
The incentive amount will be included on the PO as an immediate price reduction for you. You’ll pay the invoice minus the discount amount and we will submit the voucher request. A valid signed Purchase Order (or other binding Agreement, Contract, Buyer’s Order, or action/resolution by a government entity’s governing body) is required at the time a voucher request is made. Non-binding agreements are not sufficient to reserve a voucher.
Step 3: Sign Terms and Conditions Forms
You now have a new vehicle at a great price, with no need to scrap a vehicle or wait for a rebate!
