TEC Equipment Oakland Donates to Local Children’s Hospital
Giving back to the community is a key commitment for TEC Equipment. The TEC team in Oakland demonstrated this recently by making a donation of $12,500 to the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. TEC’s contribution to the hospital will further their mission to protect and advance the well-being of children in Alameda County.
TEC’s Oakland General Manager, Patty McNeil, proudly notes that the employees voted unanimously to donate to this worthy cause. “On behalf of the entire team at TEC Equipment in Oakland, it is an honor to be able to contribute to such an important and worthwhile organization, dedicated to meeting the medical needs of the young people in our community.” And in that spirit, TEC also contributed 200 Mack bulldog plush toys as gifts for the children.
TEC Equipment has enjoyed much success since its humble beginnings in 1976. TEC’s Founder and President & CEO, David Thompson, believes in giving back to the community, especially in the areas of education, health and human services. He adds, “I consider it a privilege, and an important social responsibility, to share our success with those in need. I am proud of our Oakland Team for identifying this special opportunity to show our support for the Children’s Hospital Oakland.”
This contribution will help the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland provide access to medical care for lower income children from birth to age 19.
